 The big word in wrestling literary circles is the release of John Capouya's well-researched biography of Gorgeous George by HarperCollins. The book is an informative and entertaining read and has a lot on George from Buffalo native Dick Beyer. More on the book can be found here; having talked to John during the project, you can be sure he's serious about his subject. |

Here is a gallery of some old Pittsburgh regulars and other greats rejoined at the 2008 Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame induction in Amsterdam, N.Y. Thanks to Shawn Blanchard and Count Grog for these; we'll add more as well. The PWHF induction ceremony is reasonably close to the old Pennsylvania-New York territory and is worth a visit every May. |
